Additional product information:

The Katana Assault has an Rg of 2.50, a differential of .051, and an intermediate differential of .020. This core yields a quick response to friction and a lot of continuation through the pins. The Katana Assault and the new chemical compound cover known as HK22 Pearl create a new level of backend reaction. This is a Katana on steroids. A monster flip ball, a motion the industry has always craved and now we have brought it to a whole new level.

HK22 - HyperKinetic Pearl, referred to as HK22 PEARL. This is a new chemical compound made available through the hard work of our chemist; it is a whole new ball game when it comes to cover stocks. We used the base formula from the HK-22 resin but enhanced the down lane motion with projection additives and have created the HK22 Pearl.

With our new ball launches, we are featuring new drilling instructions offering a wide variety of ball motion with “no balance hole” options so that bowlers can make a smoother transition into the new ball specifications. Again, this is just another example of why Radical is quickly becoming a leader in bowling ball technology. We call it the #Radical Revolution.

At Radical Bowling Technologies, innovation is our commitment. We deliver high-tech, high-quality products for the betterment of the game ...Wow! That’s Radical!

Great for a first high performance

Posted by Liam Ahern on Feb 19th 2024

I’ve been using a symmetrical core ball for a while, and was looking to get a bit more out of my ball. This was exactly what I was looking for, very strong finishes with lots of good hook in just about any condition

    Great transition ball!

Posted by Eric A. on Oct 31st 2023

This ball works great during the transition. The 3000-grit surface helps it get through the heads, but since it is not polished it does not skid too far down lane. I have used it on both sport and house shots, and works great.

    Radical Katana Strike Review!

Posted by James Goulding III on Oct 5th 2023

The Radical Katana Strike fills the hybrid asymmetric void in my bag, fitting in perfectly between the Katana Assault and the Innovator Solid. I drilled the Katana Strike 40 x 4.25" x 70 to give me a longer transition from skid to hook to roll, and a strong pin to make sure it flares good in heavier volumes. The Katana Strike is super versatile, as you can see form the video link I provided with this review. You can slow hook it, or pipe it straighter, it still has good pin action, even with lower entry angles. I have used the Katana Strike on sport patterns such as Chichen Itza 40, Beefy Burrito 36', and Mark Roth 39', having good success on all three. On a 42' THS, it is a killer, giving me plenty of miss room with outstanding pin action. You can see from the video comparison to the Katana Assault that the Katana Strike is about 3-4 boards stronger, and 2-3 feet sooner to start its move on the lane. Make sure you get to Bowler Builders Pro Shop, or your local pro shop to pick up the Katana Strike and join the Radical Revolution today! Katana strike

Posted by Robert way on Aug 5th 2023

Katana strike I’m a left handed bowler with ball speed around 14.5 mph. My Rev rate is around 275 rpms. This ball matches up great with the katana assault. The strike starts up sooner with a little more control backend in motion. It’s still a big backend ball. But with hybrid cover it makes the ball hook sooner than the assault. I think it’s a great addition to the katana line and Radical bowling Technologies. It’s the first ball out of my bag for league. Thanks, Robert Way
