Behind The Design:
The evolution of the GEM line reaches its peak with the PERFECT GEM. We’ve taken the DNA of the original GEM core and strategically altered its density to integrate seamlessly with our revolutionary A.I. Core Technology. This precise calibration enhances the core's natural physics, thus creating a more continuous motion that maximizes energy transfer through the pins for the most "perfect" ball motion we've engineered to date.
Surrounding this high-torque weight block is our brand-new E-R1™ (EXTREME-Response Version 1) Solid Reactive coverstock. This cutting-edge, nano-free formulation creates a completely different footprint on the lane compared to our previous-generation materials, altering the surface contact zone to blend seamless front- lane cleanliness with a more extreme respsonse down lane. Factory-finished at a 2000-Grit Abralon baseline for an optimal balance of traction and recovery, the E-R1 cover effortlessly glides through the heads to preserve its extreme response to friction down lane even as the oil pattern begins to transition.
Specifically calibrated for Medium/Heavy to Heavy Oil, the PERFECT GEM is for the bowler who craves maximum reaction without the early burnout. THIS IS the cleaner, stronger, and more versatile version of a legend, providing the definitive blend of raw strength and modern continuation into one "perfect" ball.

The Perfect Gem
The Roto Grip Perfect Gem is one of those balls that immediately gets my attention once I put it on the lane. With my 50 x 5 x 50 layout, I’m seeing a really strong combination of traction through the front, continuation through the pins, and plenty of shape when it gets to the breakpoint. What I really like about the Perfect Gem is how much confidence it gives me when I need a ball that can handle a little more oil. It picks up in the midlane without feeling lazy downlane, and when it sees friction, it makes a strong and continuous move through the pocket. For my game, I’m able to create a lot of different looks with this ball simply by changing my launch angle and ball speed. It gives me the traction I want in the oil while still maintaining the continuation I need downlane. My Specs Right-Handed Tweener Speed: 14–15 mph Rev Rate: 220 PAP: 6 1/8 → 1/2 Up Layout: 50 x 5 x 50 A huge thank you to my sponsors Storm Bowling, I Am Bowling, Turbo Grips, and Pin Point Pro Shop for supporting me both on and off the lanes. Perfected Gem?
Right Hand - 15.5 mph down lane, 335 +/-, PAP 4.75, 1/2 up, layout is 4.5 x4x2.25. I have bowled on a house shot at Bowlero Edmond, OK and a 44ft 29ml pattern. The Perfect Gem is for the person who wants maximum traction, strong continuation, and plenty of shape when the lanes are fresh and demanding. The only Gem I have rolled prior was the Magic Gem. The Magic Gem was designed to sit between the original Gem and Exotic Gem, offering more length than the original Gem while maintaining substantial midlane traction. The interesting thing about the Perfect Gem is that solid, doesn't necessarily mean earlier or smoother. The new E-R1 cover was designed to get through the front relatively cleanly and then respond strongly to friction. My comparison is that the Magic Gem is skid, strong read, strong continuation and the Perfect Gem is clean, stronger midlane, bigger and more continuous. The Roto Grip Perfect Gem is a powerful heavy-oil weapon. If you're looking for a piece of equipment that can dig through oil, read the midlane and continue through the pins, the Perfect Gem deserves a spot in your bag. The Perfect Gem gives you a stronger overall read while still maintaining enough energy to continue through the pins. For a bowler with decent speed and/or lower rev rate, the Perfect Gem could be particularly interesting because it gives you a way to create traction without necessarily getting the ball to quit downlane. The Perfect Gem is a heavy-oil beast. When the lanes are demanding and you need something that isn't afraid of volume, this is the type of ball you want in your bag. Thanks, Mike Walker

Perfect Gem
The Perfect Gem gives me exactly what I’m looking for when I need a strong, confident reaction on heavier conditions. It digs into the lane early, gives me a strong and predictable midlane read, and still has plenty of continuation through the pins. Compared to the Original Gem, I see a little more continuation downlane while still getting that strong overall motion the Gem line is known for. Compared to the Magic Gem, the Perfect feels smoother and more predictable for me, especially when I need to control the breakpoint. It fits nicely between the two and gives me a shape that I feel like I can use on a wider variety of heavier conditions. When there’s enough volume and I need something strong, smooth, and dependable, the Perfect Gem is an easy choice.
