Additional product information:
From the start we knew that in order to make the HP2 Line great again, we had to re-imagine what performance from this line should look like. After countless messages and meetings with R&D, it was determined that the ball that set the original HP2 performance standard could be modified to meet the needs of today in terms of motion and reaction.
Inside you will notice the same legendary weightblock shape from the original Wrecker. This part when placed inside our A.I. Core Technology provided the ULTIMATE amount of motion we were looking for to re-establish the HP2 Line. But we didn't stop there. We then spent countless hours with R&D to develop our latest coverstock technology that covers all that you need and want for Medium Oil Conditions. PURE reaction, PURE predictability and PURE performance which ultimately means PURE-Response.

Ultimate Wrecker for the W
The layout is 50 x 4 1/4 x 40. The HP2 line is back! And I’m excited for this ball. What I love is predictability and this Ultimate Wrecker provides with ease! The hybrid coverstock gives that nice even motion from the midlane to the backend part of the lane. I’m able to play straighter on medium patterns or house shots when they are broken down, or when the lanes start to transition, I can move left, keep my angles just a little closer to the pocket, and still provide that shape that I’m looking for. This ball is amazing and gives that same nostalgic feeling of the OG Wrecker some years ago. If you had and loved the Wrecker, you will definitely enjoy the Ultimate Wrecker!

Ultimate Wrecker
Ultimate Wrecker - Ball Specs Cover Stock: Pure Response Hybrid Finish: Power Edge Core: Wrecker with AI RG: 2.54 Differential: 0.045 Review Roto Grip brings back the HP2 line with the Ultimate Wrecker. When the famed Hustle isn’t strong enough then the Ultimate Wrecker will get the job done. The Ultimate Wrecker core is now enhanced with AI technology wrapped with the pure response hybrid cover. I didn’t have the original Wrecker. This ball reminds me of cleaner and more responsive version of the Roto Grip Devour. As a mid to low rev player, I see this ball being my first choice on dry to medium oil patterns. This is a great ball for all levels of bowlers. Order one from your local pro shop today! Ultimate Wrecker Review by Kyle, Joel, & Dean Johnson
Ball Specs: Storm Ultimate Wrecker Cover: Power Edge PURE-Response™ Hybrid Reactive Core: Wrecker™ + A.I. Core (Symmetrical) Color: Cherry/Old Gold/Wine Review: Finally, a new HP2 Ball! This is one of those staple balls we look forward coming into our shop for many reasons. The color is nostalgic and the performance to money spent is well worth it (yes this matters to a novice bowler looking to step up from a Tropical Surge or a first ball purchase of something a bit more than “entry level”). This ball also serves many purposes for the traditional league bowler as well as seasoned tournament veteran. The Ultimate Wrecker could be used to fill the gap for a traditional league bowler who either does not have a symmetrical piece of equipment or has not yet experienced a hybrid coverstock to help stay to the right part of the lane on those nights where you may run into some dry conditions. This ball is also a must have for the seasoned tournament veteran who needs a ball to get through the dry conditions late in a block without having to move against the ball return. We drilled this ball with our normal layout: tweener, 350-375 revs, 16.5mph, layout of choice is 5x4x2 (pin is above bridge). For us it provides us with all the above. This line has been missed! Ultimate Wrecker
Ball Specs: Ultimate Wrecker Cover: Pure Response Hybrid Reactive Core: Wrecker with AI Technology Review: I took the Roto Grip Ultimate Wrecker out for a few league nights, and it didn’t take long to figure out what kind of ball this is. It’s clean through the front, smooth in the middle, and gives a nice pop off the back without going wild. It’s not a ball that tries to do too much; it just does what you need it to. For me, this ball came to life once the lanes started to transition. When my stronger ball started grabbing too early, I switched to the Ultimate Wrecker, and it gave me exactly what I was looking for: more length and a controlled but noticeable hook to the pocket. I didn’t feel like I had to fight it or baby it at the release. It just read the lane the right way. The backend isn’t super snappy, but it’s strong and very readable. It gives you that smooth arc that you can trust, and it still hits with plenty of power. I’ve had great curry with this ball, especially on lighter volume patterns or late in blocks when I needed something to stay clean up front but still finish. Ultimate Wrecker!
The Ultimate Wrecker is Roto Grips newest HP2 line ball. The HP2 line has been lacking for some time now. Ive felt like the jumps from Hustles to IDOL/Rockstar hasn’t been bridged very well for a while. The Ultimate Wrecker features Pure Response Hybrid wrapped around the Wrecker AI core. This creates a very stable and moderately responsive ball. For me the Ultimate Wrecker has been the perfect game 3 house shot ball when I need to get farther left but still blend the massive cliff. The Ultimate Wrecker is now available from any Storm VIP Pro Shop! Review Video: https://youtu.be/d6V51x_VjmY?si=25Ex1Fy77sRFT8xJ

Ultimate Wrecker
Roto Grip Ultimate Wrecker Coverstock: Pure Response Hybrid Reactive Finish: Power Edge Core: Wrecker + A.I. (14 pd) RG: 2.59 Differential: 0.046 Layout: 5 x 4 x 3 1/2 - 2LS Layout Extras: 2 1/8 Finger Depth, "X" - 4 1/2 D and 1 Inch Left Tester: PAP 6 1/2 R, 1 1/4 D Review: The Ultimate Wrecker brings back the HP2 line of mid-level bowling balls. The hybrid coverstock provides the right amount of length with a good amount of backend punch. This ball was released at the right time for summer where drying lanes tend to be more prevalent. The Ultimate Wrecker is smooth, reliable and very predictable. To bring to light a similar ball for Roto Grip fans, the Hyped Hybrid quickly comes to mind. If you enjoyed the Hyped Hybrid, you will want to consider adding an Ultimate Wrecker to your line up. The Ultimate Wrecker is truly for league night where you want to easily clear the front part of the lane as transition occurs. This ball is ready to go with the OOB finish and into your bag. For those that like to scratch the ball up a bit a 3K pad will do the trick for a lot of bowlers. Ultimate Wrecker Review
Layout: 4 1/2 x 4 x 4 1/4 Surface: Power Edge Rev Rate: 470 RPM Tilt: 13* The Wrecker is back and so is the Roto Grip HP2 line! This time with AI Core Technology! The Wrecker AI core is paired with the new Pure Response Hybrid cover finished with Power Edge and designed for medium oil conditions. There has not been a Roto Grip HP2 ball since the Hyped Series, so this was a well needed ball in the lineup. I was able to test this Ultimate Wrecker on a broken down 44ft typical house pattern. My intent of the layout was for a clean response and controllable backend for medium oil transitioned lanes. This is what I got out of the ball. The higher RG got the ball through the front well and easy while the moderate differential core got me enough midlane reaction to continue through the pins correctly. My first few shots showed that the ball was actually cleaner than I expected. When I got the ball a little firmer off my hand, it gave me a little too much length. When I stayed softer with my ball speed, the ball read the lane nicely and angled well through the pins. This ball is definitely a step from the Hustle Line balls but still a good step down from all the HP3 and HP4 lines. I would recommend the Ultimate Wrecker for anyone looking for a new and weaker transition ball. A game 2 or 3 ball of a medium house condition would be the ultimate condition for this. The hybrid in the coverstock gives better midlane roll than the previous hyped hybrid and more down lane motion as well. Unless your house pattern has really old lane surfaces or use low volume, the Ultimate Wrecker should not be the first ball out of the bag in most scenarios. I can see this ball being very useful in a longer format tournament that reaches 4-6 games. It will be a great step down from the Attention Star S2 or even the Rockstar if you still need a symmetrical option. For me, this ball will be brought where I need length and control. Longer patterns where the hook is closer to the head pin and medium to shorter oil conditions when I need a ball to get down the lane and control the backend will be the best options for me. A pin up drilling will give a stronger midlane read and faster response if you want more overall backend motion. Adam Chase Storm Staff

Ultimate Wrecker Review
Ball Specs: Roto Grip Ultimate Wrecker Pure Response Hybrid Reactive Cover Power Edge Polished Wrecker AI Core (Symmetric) Layout 4 x 4.5 with 1.5” Pin Buffer Bowler Specs: Right Hand. PAP 5” Over 1/2 up Rev Rate 300. Tilt 20. Rotation 50. Speed at release 17 Review: This is a ball I have been waiting for. The original Blue/White Wrecker was very good, and this one is probably better. I was not sure what to expect from this ball, so I rolled it on our typical house shot. I found the Ultimate Wrecker to be forgiving, strong enough for all but heavy oil and it created a nice shape on the lane. I was able to swing the ball to the dry for some nice pocket hits but surprisingly this ball played like a champ up the boards where the oil is thicker. When the Ultimate Wrecker got to the end of the oil pattern it had a nice back-end motion. The AI core seems to be helping the carry in this ball. This ball covers more boards than my Hustle M-M but not as much as my Equinox. I would have liked to see it in a color more like the original, but I have heard this color scheme helped in the target ball motion. I do not see a reason to change the surface on this ball unless you want to sand down for more teeth under a new polish. I would recommend this ball to anyone who wants a medium polished benchmark ball. This ball should work well for any bowler. Summary: The Ultimate Wrecker will be appreciated by those who had the original. The ball has just the right amount of motion for medium type conditions. This will be a versatile benchmark ball that shapes great and hits hard. Glenn Wendel Storm Pro Shop Staff gwendel@comcast.net www.stormbowling.com

Roto Grip Ultimate Review Review by Casey Murphy
Orientation: Right Handed Rev Rate: 400 RPM Speed: 16-17 MPH PAP: 4 ½ over and 1 1/8 up Location: Enterprise Park Lanes, Springfield MO Pattern: High Volume THS VLS Layout: Layout 1: 4 5/8 x 4 x 2 ½ (Pin above bridge) Layout 2: 4 ¼ x 4 x 4 (pin below bridge) The Wrecker series is back with the Ultimate Wrecker! Hybrid cover, AI core reboot, what more could you ask for! The signature of the Wrecker series was that it’s pretty clean and pretty slow downlane for a high RG ball. I loved that motion because the heads are choppy after some bowling and the backends get tight, and the Ultimate Wrecker solves that problem. I drilled a pin up and pin down version and they both took me back to that signature motion that I loved and struck so much with over the years! I will say you need some friction somewhere to throw these balls, either in the heads or on the backend, but if you have it you’ll be glad you have the Ultimate Wrecker!

Ultimate Wrecker Review
Looking to wreck some havoc on the lanes when they are starting to get toasty? The Ultimate Wrecker is the ideal choice for you. With the return of the HP2 line, Roto Grip has re-designed the performance of the original Wrecker Core and enhanced its weight block shape with AI core technology. Its symmetrical PURE response hybrid reactive cover stock is perfectly designed for medium oil conditions. The Ultimate Wrecker gives results none other than pure reaction, predictability, response, and performance. Ball layout: 60 x 4 ¾ x 55. I decided to go with a pin down option to compare/contrast with the 900 Global Zen25 (same layout), for a smooth motion down lane. Testing it at my home center of Cortlandt Lanes in Cortlandt Manor, NY, on its 42ft league pattern, the Ultimate Wrecker gave me results I would find most suitable when it came to transition. Seeing it’s a hybrid and with its Power Edge finish, I didn’t see much ball motion until the friction started to open up. Once the ball was in play, the Ultimate Wrecker gave me the results I needed, a clean, smooth roll down the lane, with a pure finish. Comparing it to my Zen25 with the same layout, the Ultimate Wrecker tends to react a little cleaner, but with similar results to its ball motion through the pins. This would fit in my bag right above the Hustle line. If you were a fan favorite of the Original Wrecker, this would be the perfect upgrade.
