Additional Information:

The Black Dragon quickly became a favorite among both customers and our team, thanks to its outstanding performance. Demand for this ball far exceeded our expectations, making it a challenge to keep in stock. Now, we are thrilled to introduce its partner—the Serpent Hybrid. SWAG’s Superior Performance Line has already earned a reputation for delivering high-end results at an unbeatable value, thanks to the success of the Dragon Line. Now, we’re taking that same winning formula even further with the introduction of the Serpent Hybrid. Featuring the all-new Serpent Core, engineered with a higher RG for enhanced downlane motion, and paired with our Serum Hybrid AP26 coverstock, this ball delivers a powerful midlane read with great backend reaction. The Serpent Hybrid is the perfect complement to the line.

DESIGN INTENT:

Speed > Revs – The Serpent establishes a new benchmark for bowlers with faster ball speeds, enabling them to achieve more downlane motion without giving away control and hitting power from the large asymmetrical core. Its cutting-edge Serpent Asymmetric core, boasting a 2.51 RG, .048 differential, and .016 mass bias strength, provides outstanding power and performance usually seen in more expensive models. Combined with the Serum AP26 Hybrid cover, this ball provides unparalleled backend strength and control for bowlers with lower revolutions, making it a reliable choice for players who are speed dominant. Designed for consistent and predictable strong movement, the Serpent is the ideal choice for speed dominant players.

Balanced Speed & Revs –  In our trials, balanced bowlers appreciated the Serpent for its great backend, excellent control, powerful continuation, and consistent performance on heavily oiled lanes. They found it durable enough to use for longer periods compared to other high-performance balls during league play. The combination of the Serum AP26 cover and the potent Serpent Asym core provides adaptability, enabling bowlers to easily adjust to varying lane conditions. This design allows bowlers to confidently maintain throwing the Serpent longer, even on fresh oil, without needing to change. The enhanced RG enables its use when the Black Dragon is a touch to early and when the Black Dragon Pearl is a bit to long and not enough overall hook.

Rev > Speed – The Serpent bowling ball is a game-changer for rev-dominant bowlers because of its smart core design. If you’ve experienced excessive forward movement down the lane with traditional asymmetrical balls, you’re not alone. Many of those balls feature overly exaggerated core shapes, such as large, protruding discs, making them hard to control. The Serpent’s Asymmetrical Core solves this issue. Like the Dragon core it shares the same idea but the higher RG enables it to push further down the lane than the Dragon core.

This core is designed to replicate the shape of symmetrical cores but with a larger intermediate differential, providing the ideal balance of control and power. It excels in handling heavy oil without compromising predictability. Furthermore, with the new Serum AP26 hybrid formula, rev-dominant bowlers can confidently use this ball during transitions or at deeper angles—moves that weren’t previously possible with asymmetrical cores.

The Serpent merges the smooth, dependable motion of symmetrical balls with the increased hitting power of a large asym core. It truly offers the best of both worlds! Prepare to dominate the lanes like never before.

very good ball it reads the lane and hits the pins hard

Posted by jordan tudor on Feb 16th 2026

The Swag's new Serpent Hybrid is a must-have in every bowler's arsenal. It features the innovative AP26 cover stock and a new Serpent core, making it versatile for different lane conditions. Whether you're bowling on a fresh house shot or a challenging sport shot, this ball performs exceptionally well. I personally laid mine out at number 5 in the 2ls system to my pin to pap, and it reads the mid lane effectively with a controlled backend motion. The new cover stock provides the much-needed friction on heavy and long oil patterns. As a powerhouse ball, the Serpent Hybrid complements the Black Dragon Solid and is sure to become a staple in every bowler's bag. Its enduring performance ensures it will be a favorite for years to come. Try it out and experience the perfection of the Swag's Serpent Hybrid.

As a Swag Staff I got the serpent early had the PSO drill it up a little longer stronger back end kept it in box finish second game out of the box was at 241. Love the role. Continuous somewhat of a snappy back in. I am not a big speed but I have high rev ball fits my style very well. I love the colors the black the green the gold logo looks Very nice on my house shot looking forward to getting the others drilled and out on the lanes put a little Swag in your bag won’t be disappointed. Definitely highly recommend the serpent hybrid by Swag. Layout is 50x5.5x45 it thumb slug

If you like the Dragon, you will love the Serpent

Serpent - Drilled 55 x 5 x 25 - Changed Surface to 2k. I love the Dragon and while a slight modification of core and being hybrid, its first impression is a great step down from the Dragon and blends transition patterns well and just sees the spot the right way. The Serpent will quickly find its place in your bag with that famiiar Dragon motion but great in the transition.

    Perfect Blend of two greats

Posted by BigSkyBowler on Feb 16th 2026

SWAG’s first asymmetrical hybrid fits perfectly between the Dragon Solid and the Dragon Pearl, delivering an ideal blend of both reactions. It’s noticeably tamer than the Dragon Pearl yet more responsive than the Dragon Solid — and with the addition of the AP26 additive in the coverstock, its backend motion is stronger and more defined than either of them. Pick this one up and you’ll have the perfect three‑ball setup, ready to handle virtually any condition.

    Serpent Strikes

Posted by Evan Fulk on Feb 16th 2026

Swag Staffer- I have thrown this ball for a few weeks and man do I love it. The length and backend I get out of this ball is amazing. The Serpent is very clean through the front of the lanes while saving energy for a very powerful motion down lane. When the lanes start to transition a little, I move into the Serpent to blend out the oil pattern. When i get this ball to the friction, its move is always decisive and angular. I usually pull this ball out for game 2 and move deeper on the lane. The is a great step-down ball for when your bigger equipment starts hooking too early. Whether you're a league bowler or a competitive player, the Serpent gives you confidence when you need a ball that finishes hard.

    Serpent is amazing

All I got to say about this ball is wow because I drilled this ball 60x5x30 to get it to go down the lane a little longer like I did with my dragon pearl but they are two difference reactions with that new ap26 cover stock. I think that new cover stock was the way to go to compete with all the other brands and to get swag out there. This ball allows me to throw all different angles with this cover stock if I miss right it give me a lot of miss room. A lot of shiny asymmetrical bowling balls don’t match up with me because they like to go two long down the lane with my 600+ rev rate and my high ball speed but this one doesn’t do that to me when that cover stock hits friction down lane it definitely builds up energy and goes through those pens beautifully. I highly recommend this ball to everyone that like to play down and in with low rev rate or anyone with high rev rate because this ball is great for anyone on a house shot or even a sport shot. I bowl on a 46 foot pattern in league and I have no problem in shaping this ball. This is one of my favorite balls so far and I can’t wait to try out the other this year.

    Long With a Bite

Posted by Konner Gerken on Feb 9th 2026

I have this ball drilled 55 x 4.25 x 30. Left handed. P.A.P 4.5 over and 1/2 down. For me this ball reacts differently in a good way! Gets through the fronts with ease. Reads the mids really well and not too early. On the back end is where I notice a difference from other balls in the line (Black Dragon and Dragon Pearl). It has a sharper more defined backend reaction when it sees friction. The thing just rolls while building and storing power. No deflection and it just wrecks the pins with drive and force. The AP26 additive is going to be a game changer for Swag!
