Creating The Difference TruCut Sanding Pad - Full Set
The new TruCut by CtD Pads are specially designed for bowling balls. These pads will give a longer lasting, true cut, that resists "Lane Shine", and improves consistency and bowling ball performance.
The full set includes:
Quality pads. Far superior to Abralon pads.
These pads provide excellent results by hand or with the use of a ball spinner. I would highly recommend these for league play and tournaments.
My abralon pads were wearing out so decided to give these a try to see if the hype was true especially how to get near a "1500 grit polish" finish without polish. Very pleased with the product and process on my spinner. Followed on-line videos and got very nice results on both an older pearl ball and a hybrid purchased last year.
Decided to try Tru-Cut disks instead of Abralon after hearing positive feedback online. They are GREAT! Really cut fast so you have to go easy on the pressure. Light pressure works well. Another nice feature is they do not get clogged with material. Just whack them against the edge of a work bench to knock out the dust. Another note is CTD customer service is quick to reply if you have questions about what disk grit to use as well as additional tech info. Great product, give CTD Tru Cut disks a try, I think you'll be impressed.
I used to use abralon and siaar pads. Trucut pads give you the finished ball surface with one. Watch the videos on their website and came away wanting to use these instead. Glad I did. Laser scans on the their videos proof enough for me.
Let me get straight to the point… I like the CTD pads more because they last longer than the Abralon and Siaair pads. PERIOD. I have tried them all and the CTD pads do last the longest. All of them do the job correctly upon the first initial use, but you will get the most use out of the CTD pads. The CTD pads don’t load up or have an excess build up of coverstock residue like the Abralon and Siaair pads. You can use them wet or dry and not have to worry about tossing them after one or two uses like the others. I prefer to use mine with a wet sand to totally remove any scuff or track marks and to restore the balls back to their original surface. I have used the 500, 2000, 3000, and P5000D pads. They do a fantastic job of adding or restoring the ball’s surface when needed. To me, the best one is the P5000D pad, which actually puts a shine on the ball with a ball spinner! You can have a polished ball with NO polish and still have some teeth in the cover. Whoa! That’s what I am talking about! With a set of the pads, I can fine tune all of my coverstocks to have the perfect arsenal in my bags. The CTD pads are a great product. I think you will like them. Peace
