The Optimum can be used with or without the finger strap, by simply leaving it under the fingers or putting it around them as shown. Designed for a consistent roll and better lift through proper thumb release. Induces the fingers to do the work. Provides proper wrist support. When using the finger strap keeps the little finger tucked in as recommended by many touring pros. Velcro straps make for easy adjustment and fast placement and removal.
