SWAG Insanity Pearl Bowling Ball

The SWAG Insanity Pearl is exactly what I wanted as the second half of the Insanity combination. I can let the Hybrid do the dirty work early, and when the lanes start telling me it’s time to make a change, the Pearl comes in to finish the job. What surprised me most is the control. I expected length and some movement off the spot, but I didn’t expect it to be this easy to read. It gets through the beat-up fronts without looking like it’s fighting the lane, saves plenty for the backend, and then gives me that extra pop through the pocket when I need it. In a way, it reminds me of my Craze Pearl. There’s that familiar feeling of being able to get the ball down lane without wondering if it’s suddenly going to go sideways on me. I can move, create some angle and still trust what I’m seeing. That’s what makes the Insanity Hybrid and Pearl such a good 1-2 combination for me. I don’t have to completely reinvent my look when I switch balls. I’m simply going from the piece that starts the fight to the one that finishes it.

One handed righty drilled 60/5/30 The SWAG Insanity Pearl is a great option when the lanes start to transition and you need to create length without giving up down-lane motion. The ball gets through the front of the lane cleanly, reads the mid-lane well, and is aggressive off the breakpoint. The Insanity Pearl gives you the ability to move in, open your angles, and still get the ball through the pins with plenty of continuation. The ball performed better for me in the beginning of lane transition, not as well during carry-down later on. It has enough traction to stay predictable but saves enough energy to make a strong move off the breakpoint. It's a ball I can see being extremely useful in my league when the pattern starts to transition and you need something cleaner and more responsive without going all the way down to a weaker piece. The Insanity Pearl is definitely a ball worth having in the bag when you need to create some angle and add length to your shot!
