SWAG Insanity Hybrid Bowling Ball

The SWAG Insanity Hybrid gave me something I really appreciate as a bowler—I didn’t feel like I had to work hard to make this ball perform. I could stay smooth with my approach, stay behind the ball and just make a good shot. There was no feeling like I needed to overthrow it, add extra hand or force it to recover. The Insanity Hybrid seemed to do the work for me. What I really liked was how aggressive it could be without looking aggressive. Coming off my hand it was smooth, through the middle of the lane it stayed controlled, but once it started making its move you could see the power building. It wasn’t jumping off the spot—it was driving through it. That gave me confidence to relax and repeat shots instead of trying to manufacture ball reaction. For medium conditions and a typical house shot, I can see this being a ball you can stay in for a while because of how well it blends the lane. And when the lanes finally force you out of it, that’s when the Insanity Pearl is sitting there waiting. The Insanity Hybrid taught me something pretty quickly:

One handed righty drilled 50/4.5/40 The SWAG Insanity Hybrid is a great benchmark-style ball that gives you a smooth, controlled reaction without sacrificing continuation through the pins. This is a ball gives a strong read through the mid-lane while still providing enough down-lane motion to carry. I really like how the Insanity Hybrid blends the lane. It doesn't feel overly aggressive or jumpy off the breakpoint, which makes it a very easy ball to trust when the lanes are a little tricky. On a fresh house shot, this is a ball I would feel comfortable using early and watching the lane transition. As the lanes open up, you can move left with it and create more angle without the reaction getting unpredictable. This ball worked better for me on the fresh THS, but was able to move right and take my hand out of the ball a little for carry-down. It's smooth, predictable, versatile, and strong enough to be an everyday ball for medium conditions. Smooth off the spot, strong through the pins, and incredibly easy to control—the Insanity Hybrid is a ball you can count on.
