Additional product information:

The Vibe line has long been a cornerstone of the Hammer lineup, and the Deep Ocean Vibe continues that legacy with a modern edge. What started as a reliable entry-level option has evolved into a go-to performance ball for bowlers of all skill levels, thanks to continued advancements in cover technology and more defined motion shapes across the line. Featuring HK22 technology, the Deep Ocean Vibe builds on the success of the fan-favorite Arctic Vibe with added length through the front of the lane and a stronger, more defined move downlane. Wrapped in a clean, traditional deep navy colorway, the Deep Ocean Vibe may look subtle, but its performance is a head-turner, making it a must-have for any arsenal.

    Hammer Deep Ocean Vibe

Posted by Chris Monroy on Aug 2nd 2026

Here's my take on the brand new Hammer Deep Ocean Vibe. At the outset, like with the Widows, Hammer has yet to make a Vibe I did not like. The Deep Ocean Vibe is no exception. The Deep Ocean Vibe features the same Vibe "hourglass" shaped symmetric core wrapped by a HK-22 CT-Reactive Plus cover colored in dark blue. Box surface is Factory Compound over 2000 Siaair. The Vibe shown was drilled with my favorite pin down layout, 60 x 5 x 70. I went over the ball with a 4000 Siaair pad. I've tried it on various fresh THS. The manufacturer's intent was to develop a little quicker response motion in a Vibe. I did a little comparison with last year's Bubblegum Vibe with a similar layout. I put the same surface as I did with the Deep Ocean Vibe. In the video, these videos were shot on "fresher" THS. They seem pretty similar though I can see the Deep Ocean is a little quicker response in its motion. (Which is interesting in that the Bubblegum Vibe is a pearl.) Where I truly saw the difference was after 5 games of practice and the fronts had dried out. The Deep Ocean Vibe still had enough energy to kick out the corners and go through the pins properly. Like with most Vibes, the Deep Ocean Vibe will be at its best on light to medium volumes of oil and when patterns have broken down. Many styles will benefit from the Deep Ocean Vibe and with this dark blue, it's a very sharp looking piece. Like many other Vibes, they deliver lots of performance at this price point. The Deep Ocean Vibe is readily available. See your local pro shop for more information.
