Additional product information:

The Breakaway has an RG of 2.52 and a differential of .041. This combination of core dynamics and HK-22 Solid, which is polished, yields a very definitive backed reaction. Our goal was to create a symmetrical ball with a massive back-end motion while increasing the hook window to be sure it has plenty of continuation.

The Breakaway hits the Radical target of increasing backend motion and maintaining continuation through the pins. Combining the Breakaway symmetrical core with the HK-22 polished solid cover, you get great performance and a great shelf appeal.

Hyperkenetic-22, referred to as HK-22. This is a new chemical compound made available through the hard work of our chemists. It is a whole new ball game when it comes to cover stocks. Cleaner through the fronts, clearer so the colors are more vibrant and responsive, and more dynamic off the spot.

Radical Break Away review (with video)

Posted by James G on Apr 5th 2024

I drilled the Radical Break Away 4.25” X 25 to be a quicker response solid symmetric, and strong through the mid-lane, and it performs perfectly. The Breakaway has an RG of 2.528 and a differential of 0.041. This combination of core dynamics and HK22 Solid, which is polished, yields a very definitive backed reaction. I have had tremendous success on our 41’ THS, I am able to play in the oil cutting of my angles, and the Break Away can still get the corner pins out. When you need to open the lane up and create more shape, the Break Away has you covered. I very versatile piece of equipment, this is one I have been looking for all season long. I used it on a 7:1 38 ft. challenge pattern and whacked them for a five-game block, then went to Alcatraz 38’ and had even more success, as you can see in the video link from my YouTube channel here: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/iH7yuqzyskw You can order the Radical Break Away now from Bowler Builders Pro Shop, and pro shops everywhere. Break away

Posted by Robert way on Mar 16th 2024

Radical Break Away I am a left handed bowler. My Rev rate is around 275 rpms. My ball speed is around 14.5 mph. I recently punched up this ball. My layout choice is 50 x 4 1/2 x 40. And I must say this ball has a lot of backend motion. It really does break away. The cover on this ball is very, very clean thru the fronts. This ball works great for me when the lanes open and I moved my feet deeper inside and swing the lane. I think this is a great addition to the Radical Bowling technologies line. Thanks, Robert Way

    Breakaway

The radical breakaway is the newest benchmark ball from radical. Even though the surface has compound on it as a solid this ball responds very well with surface change. I like the compound on the surface it makes the ball even cleaner through the front with the angular motion on the back his balls quickly become a favorite of mine, and it will fit in my bag for Tournaments and how shot Tournaments.

    Break Away from the PACK

I love this one! The logo placements and color contrast to the red blue pour is exactly what I like to see in a ball. Definitely able to see the 3 distinct phases of ball motion. I particularly like when I can see the ball go into the roll phase right before it crushes the pins.
