Additional product information:

U-Motion was one of our biggest ball tests over the last 6-9 months, we understand the need for urethane and tested many different core designs and urethane formulas. The core features a higher RG and lower DIFF for excellent urethane ball motion. The U-Motion will provide consistent and predictable ball motion on any condition and is most effective on lighter volume and shorter patterns.

    Urethane for the House

Posted by Mike Romero on Feb 17th 2021

The Brunswick U Motion is a great low volume/short pattern ball to have in your arsenal. Unfortunately, given the pandemic, I have not had an opportunity to use it on medium to heavier volumes, but on the drier conditions I have been able to use it on, it's provided me with some great controllable backend reaction. You can definitely see the predictable ball motion downlane and make adjustments when necessary. I drilled mine 55 x 4.5 x 20

    Great Urethane Option!!!

Posted by Ryan Galli on Sep 9th 2020

This ball is the perfect compliment to the Purple Hammer. I really shouldn't need to say anything else. Where the Purple Hammer has a tendency to go a little too long before seeing the friction, the U-Motion picks up. It's a staple in my bag with the Purple. If you're looking for a urethane ball but this one. You will not be disappointed

    Urethane With Extra Backend

It gives me some extra down lane motion I have not seen out of previous urethane balls. The U Motion allows me to open my angles and still get the corner pins out. Compared to the True Motion it is a few feet later and has 3 more boards of hook on the backend. This one saw some use already on a shorter tournament pattern playing the gutter and will definitely see more in the future. If your looking for urethane control with just a bit more backend pop check out the U Motion.

    A must have

Posted by Chuck Wallace on Jul 23rd 2020

This ball is a must have, once the lanes burn up and everything starts to hook more than you like, you can pull this baby out and play your same mark and still control the lanes, such a smooth continuous roll, I absolutely love this ball...if you don’t have one of these in your bag you’re definitely missing out!

    U Motion

Posted by Bob moran on Jul 22nd 2020

I haven’t used urethane much but after drilling this ball I can see that changing. The U Motion is strong and controllable through the front part of the lane and still retains enough energy to drive through the pins. Great ball to blend out those wet/dry conditions as well as the flat tournament patterns

    Put one in your bag!

Posted by Bill Richardson on Jul 11th 2020

Myself I was slow to get back to a urethane ball but this one did not disappoint. Great thought the front part of the lane and gives a smooth continuous motion to the pocket. If your bowling on older wood lanes or short pattern tournaments this is a great buy for any bowler.

    A new brand of urethane

Posted by Jeffrey Poholsky on May 26th 2020

The U-Motion is a release from Brunswick that combines the needed characteristics of a urethane ball in today's environment, with the motion to provide hitting power unlike previous urethane pieces. I had thrown a True Motion in the past couple of years, this ball moves for me probably 3-4 boards more (with identical drillings) and the DynamiCore improves the carry percentage. I feel like I have far more mistake area with this ball than I did with the True Motion. For short sport patterns where you need a controllable reaction, or for wet/dry league conditions where you'd like to stay toward the outside of the lane as long as possible, this is your solution. It also adapts well to changes in surface, so if you feel you need to move the breakpoint forward or back, don't hesitate to break out your pads or polish. If you need a urethane ball in your arsenal then the search goes no further, look for a U-Motion and you won't be disappointed. Jeff Poholsky Brunswick Regional Staff

Plenty of Motion with the U Motion

Posted by Todd Allred on May 17th 2020

The latest phenomenon in the rebirth of modern urethane, the U Motion is a step up from the True Motion. A good 3 boards stronger than its predecessor the U offers an a strong smooth motion with plenty of drive to kick out those corners. This ball will not disappoint and is easily my favorite piece to bet me through those early games on sports patterns.

    U Motion Ball

Posted by Joseph Petrovich on May 11th 2020

Pretty impressive. I am not a big Urethane ball thrower. I gave this one a test drive at a Demo. I was pretty impressed how the overall motion was on this one. It did not seem to quit like most urethane's that I have thrown. Does not set up hard and stop like alot of them. I was able to have a continuation through the pin deck. Which is always a plus :) Easy to read, and a good one when you need to keep the ball in front of you. Definitely a keeper
